All the Info

It's a lot. I can't fit a life story in this spot. Suffice it to say,  I started writing in 2013 after I was diagnosed with a grade II brain tumor. I started writing fiction about six years ago, starting with the first draft of the YA fantasy novel that was released on January 10, 2025, A Discovery of Talents. Representation for LGBTQIA+ and disability are high on my list of priorities. We deserve to see ourselves as the main characters. I'm a transgender queer disabled person. I've been physically disabled my entire adult life. Learning to deal with mental disabilities came with the cancer and the surgeries that went along with it. I wasn't able to come out as nonbinary queer until 2 years ago, and it's turning out to be more of a journey of self-discovery than I thought it would be. It's not easy to live in the shadows as someone you don't want to be. Now that I'm out, I've legally changed my name. Some of my early work is under my dead name. I'm still working on changing that on my self-published work.
I wanted to and tried to write since I was a kid. Nothing ever really worked out until the last 11 years. Maybe I just needed the right experience to rise from.
